Protection of Family Links Field Officer 1 (Kibondo) at International Committee of the Red Cross February, 2023The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent organisation with the exclusively humanitarian mission to protect the lives and dignity of victims of war and internal violence and to provide them with assistance. It also endeavours to prevent suffering by promoting and strengthening International Humanitarian Law and universal humanitarian principles. The ICRC’s Mission in Dar es salaam co-ordinates the institution’s humanitarian activities in Kibondo and Dar es salaam Tanzania.
The RFL Field Officer 1 is responsible for the implementation of activities in relation to Restoring Family Links (RFL) in Tanzania for civilian population as well as migrants in places of detention. The RFL Field Officer works jointly with the ICRC RFL team on providing technical advice and timely follow-up of the joint implementation of RFL services with the Tanzania Red Cross Society. This position is based in Kibondo Office.
