TANZANIA MUSIC AWARDS 2022
Tonight 03 April 2022 was held at the award ceremony for various Tanzanian music artists in various positions. Before the Allocation there was also a Brief Speech by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania President Samia Hassan Suluhu who was awarded the Honour Award along with Mabeyo, Diamond Platnumz and Ms Kidude on that night. The distribution of the prizes to the artists began officially as follows:
1.BEST FEMALE DANCER
The award went to dancer Baby Drama, who won the award in 2021.
2. BEST MALE ARTIST OF NATURAL MUSIC
The award went to the Zawose who won the award.
3. BEST ORIGINAL SONG
The Award for Best Original Song managed to go to artist Sholo Mwamba through his song “ASILI YETU”
4.BEST FEMALE ARTIST TAARABU
The award for best female artist went to artist Khadija Yusuph who won the award.
5.BEST MALE ARTIST TAARABU
The award for best male artist on the part of Taarabu went to Mzee Yusuph who won the award.
6. The award for best Reggae artist
The award for best Reggae artist went to the artist Baddest who won the award tonight.
7.BEST FEMALE ARTIST SINGELI
The award was won by the beloved artist Snura Mushi after performing well in the music.
8. The award for best Reggae artist Also on the Men’s side the award went to artist BADDEST who did well in 2021.
9.BEST FEMALE PERFORMER
The award went to the artist Saraphina who performed well in 2021.
10.BEST MALE PERFORMER
The award for Men’s was awarded to artist Harmonize “Kho kho kho Yaw yaw” who performed well in 2021.
11.BEST SONG OF THE YEAR
This award has been won in the hands of artist Marioo, his song Bia Tamu.
12.BEST MALE ARTIST BONGOFLEVA
This award also been awarded to the artist Mario who did well in 2021.
13.BEST HIPHOP ARTIST
This award for Best Artist for Men on hiphop side take Young Lunya “The Goat” 14.BEST YOUNG ARTIST
The award goes to a young artist named Rapcha.
15.BEST AUTHOR OF THE YEAR (Mtunzi bora)
Award for Best Songwriter for Best Actor goes to Alikiba 2021 on his Album
16.BEST ARTIST OF THE YEAR MEN
The award went to Artist Harmonize “kho kho kho yaw yaw” in 2021
17.BEST FEMALE ARTIST OF THE YEAR The award went to the artist Nandy who won the award after doing well in 2021.
